Our cookie policy explains what cookies we collect, how we use them, and how you can opt out.
April 1, 2026 .
This cookie policy explains how we use cookies and how we share and protect your data in relation to our website (the "Website"). We place cookies and process personal data in a manner that is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the Dutch Telecommunications Act and all other applicable privacy legislation currently in force.
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone when you visit the Website. Cookies cannot harm your device. They help us provide you with a smoothly functioning Website. We use three categories of cookies: necessary cookies, statistics cookies, and marketing cookies. Non-necessary cookies are only placed with your consent.
We use a self-hosted consent management system built directly into the Website — no third-party consent platform is involved. When you first visit the Website, a banner appears with equally prominent "Accept all" and "Reject all" options, as well as a "Manage preferences" option to make category-level choices. Your preferences are stored in the vs_consent cookie for one year. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page, or via the buttons at the bottom of this page.
Necessary cookies are essential for the Website to function correctly and cannot be turned off. There is a distinction between session cookies, which are deleted when you leave the Website, and persistent cookies, which are saved to avoid you having to repeat the same action on every visit. We use the following necessary cookies: cf_clearance (a Cloudflare bot management token, set on every visit, expires after one day), cf_consent (stores the Cloudflare Zaraz consent state, set when you accept or reject cookies, expires after one year), and vs_consent (stores your cookie consent preferences for this domain, expires after one year). These are described in detail in the Cookie Declaration below. We do not share data obtained via necessary cookies with third parties.
Our contact form is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile — a privacy-friendly alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. When you load the contact page, Turnstile makes a request to challenges.cloudflare.com to verify that you are a human visitor. This check runs in the background without requiring you to solve a puzzle. Turnstile does not set any cookies on your device. Cloudflare processes minimal browser signals to perform the verification. For more information, please refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Statistics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Website by collecting and reporting information anonymously. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. Rather than loading Google Analytics scripts directly in your browser, we send analytics events through Cloudflare Zaraz — a server-side tag manager that runs on Cloudflare's edge network. This means your real IP address is masked by Cloudflare before any data is forwarded to Google; Google never receives your raw IP address. We have configured Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled, Google Signals disabled, and Restricted Data Processing enabled. We use this information in aggregate and cannot identify you as an individual from it. We have not given Google permission to share your data with third parties for their own purposes. Google may be legally obliged to share data with third parties in certain circumstances. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, an adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission in July 2023, which provides an appropriate level of protection for personal data transferred to the United States. Statistics cookies are only placed with your consent.
Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites and to display relevant advertisements. We do not currently use marketing cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your explicit consent before placing any marketing cookies.
We do not currently use remarketing services. If we introduce remarketing in the future, we will update this policy accordingly and will only do so with your consent.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page, or use the preference buttons at the bottom of this page. Withdrawing your consent will immediately remove any statistics cookies from your browser and prevent new ones from being placed. The Website continues to function fully without statistics cookies — only the necessary cookies will remain active.
If you would like access to your personal data, if you would like to change or delete your personal data, or if you would like to transfer your data or have it transferred to a third party, please contact us.
We make every effort to maintain an accurate overview of the cookies on the Website. However, it is possible that third parties place cookies via embedded content — for example, a video hosted on YouTube. If you find a cookie on the Website that is not listed in this overview, please contact us.
We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss or unlawful processing. We use safeguards to keep information collected through the Website secure. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password and account information and for controlling access to communications between you and us.
We do not share data obtained via necessary cookies with third parties. Data obtained via statistics cookies is only shared with Google Analytics in aggregated and anonymised form, and only after you have given your consent. We do not currently collect or share data via marketing cookies.
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.
If we sell or otherwise transfer part or all of our assets to another organisation (for example during a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, or liquidation), information collected through the Website may be among the items sold or transferred. The buyer or transferee will honour the commitments made in this cookie policy.
We may modify or update this cookie policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy on this page. You are advised to review this cookie policy periodically. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page.
If you have any questions about this cookie policy, please contact us.
